How To Sell Successfully on Ebay: Part 2

I am about to give away a few more tips that are not available in my previous article.

1) Offer Fast & Free Delivery:

By providing your customers with a 'Same day dispatch' option or a 'One working day processng time' combined with a Royail Mail 1st Class or Second Class shipping option, the "Fast & Free" label will appear on all your ads which will give you a boost of 3% in sales according to Ebay.

It will also give confidence to customers to buy from your store as they can already plan to use the item very shortly. Quick delivery is a big part of the customer satisfaction and should not be neglected.

2) Targetting Good Keywords + Formulating Your Ad:

One of the most important factors for your success on Ebay is to gain visibility.

Having a catchy title or description will attract more customers but will also increase the impulse buy.

Once customers are aware that they are getting a deal and it is crealy advertised as a sale or bargain, they are more tempted to purchase the item straight away in order not to miss this wonderful deal.

3) Maintaining Listings At The Top Of The Search:

So far, the ultimate way to be on the first page of Cassini is to keep your reputation to the top (+98% positive feedbacks), being a PowerSeller or A Top-Rated Seller can definitely make a huge difference.

Using "Good Til Cancelled" option and keeping the sold amount visible under the quantity is something valuable as customers will realise this item is in high demand.

It will create confidence and will increase your chances of selling more and more. Useless to say that Cassini likes hot items as the more sold, the more money for Ebay.

Avoid your listings to reach "0" quantity as you might not be able to relist the same listing with the sales record in it.

4) Inspiring Trust and Confidence to Customers:

Feedbacks, perfect english, the choice of your words and being a business seller with full information (phone number, email address etc..) are the keys to inspire trust to your customers.

You need to appear as a genuine and approachable business.

To give that impression, you need to have in place 7 day customer service, live chat if possible and different ways to be contacted.

Handling any situations with manners and professionalism will always lead your customers to positive experiences or at least to neutral ones if a complaint is involved.

5) Invest Money Only When Sure About The Outcome:

This section is more for beginners. Investing money as a start-up business can be very tricky, confusing or difficult.

The advice I could give you is to start slowly and doing a lot of trial investments. If you think a product is worth investing and has good potential, try investing a small amount of money and see if you were right.

The investment should always be proportional to your current capital. Never invest more than 10% of your capital as it could harm you pretty badly.

There is nothing wrong with losing money but making sure you always learn from it and keep moving forward and understanding the why and how.

A business is always a bit of a gamble, then comes the hardwork and determination.

If you condition yourself to succeed, you will eventually succeed.

This is it for today, I hope you enjoyed this article, please like, follow, share or comment as you wish but don't be passive.

Take care.
