Best platforms to sell online

In this article, I am going to give you a list of the most popular platforms to sell your products all over the world:

1) FNAC

FNAC is a very popular website, especially in Europe. The seller account is easy to use and very well-organised. You can literally list an item in less than 3 minutes. You don't even need to be registered.

You should visit the website: www.fnac.com

2) CDiscount

CDiscount is probably the e-commerce leader website in France with 1.6 billion turnover in 2013. You won't get any difficulties to sell on the platform, however you will need to be VAT registered.

3) Coisas

www.coisas.com is basically the portuguese Ebay. The e-commerce has been growing in Portugal in the last few years, however the market is missing online platforms for the country as Ebay and Amazon do not have any portuguese versions of their website.

As an alternative, Coisas could be good as not much competition is present on the website. The only requirement is a phone number to verify your seller account. If you wish to be PayPal verified, a fee of 15€ (£12) will be charged to your card.

4) Price Minister

Price Minister is a leading e-commerce platform in France. If you are looking for exposition and really increase your international sales, Price Minister will be a good option for you.
Please note that a monthly subscription fee and commissions apply to be able to sell as a pro.

9) Vivastreet

If you wish to sell to a local audience, Vivastreet is the right place for you. The transactions take place physically (collection) and you need to enjoy the face to face contact with customers.

10) Ebid

It is the most similar selling place from Ebay with a "Buy It Now" option and a "Place Bid" option. There are several fees according to your selling needs such as £1.99/week or £49.99 for a life time. Ebid guarantees a maximum sale fee of 3% for weekly or monthly subscribers. Lifetime members get a 0% sale fee.

12) Gumtree

Gumtree is probably the most popular website for flat or job hunting and very good local deals as well in the UK. It is very similar to Vivastreet. Gumtree pushes customers to collect items rather than making any online transactions.

13) Ebay

Probably the second most popular selling platform in the world, Ebay has been opened for over 10 years now. If you are looking for THE deal, you have to have a look on Ebay. Ebay offers their Money Back guarantee program will allow to shop very safely. It works in conjunction with PayPal which is the safest payment method on the Internet. It is free to sell on Ebay however selling limits apply. You will be invoiced monthly to pay your seller fees.

14) Amazon

Here we go ! The most popular and used marketplace in the world. Amazon has aggressively imposed itself on the online industry for the past few years with their popular Amazon Prime membership or their Kindle publishing books. Amazon never fails to provide excellent customer service and buyer protection when necessary. If you recently just start selling online, I would recommend to start by Amazon as it will open a lot of doors for you. It is free to list items however Amazon will take the fees out of your sale before disbursing the payment into your bank account, therefore you don't need to worry about being invoiced.

My last three selling marketplaces will be about personalized items or hand-made items:

I will recommend 3 platforms > Cafepress, Zazzle and notonthehighstreet

http://www.cafepress.co.uk/

http://www.zazzle.co.uk/

http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/

I have a personal preference for notonthehighstreet as they offer a wide range of products at an unbeatable price and the customer service is excellent. Please visit the websites above to find out more information.

I just presented you the best platforms to sell online.
